Don’t be blue this January with PLAANK…

Like so many countries, January is perceived as a gloomy month here in the UK!

Those who have celebrated Christmas may be feeling the financial aftermath pinch, and the weather at this time of year tends to be cold and miserable. Coupled with half of the UK population being unhappy about Brexit, which is happening at the end of January and it’s easy to see why January has been tarnished with being a miserable month!

January needn’t be all doom and gloom, much like the perception of the colour blue! In fact, ‘Classic Blue’ has been named as the Pantone colour of the year for 2020.

This intensely rich shade of blue is not dissimilar to cobalt blue, a shade full of warmth and allure. Classic Blue however has subtle accent tones of petrol, making it seemingly more sophisticated than cobalt.

Be sure to check them out if you’re thinking of updating a wall or room in your home with a blue colour, but not totally sure which shade is right for you!

One recent contract for an opticians decided upon ‘Rocky Mountain Grey’ as the wallcovering choice to tie in with a predominantly neutral and brown interior, offset by a sofa, upholstered in a pared back shade of teal.
