It’s Christmas next…

It’s Christmas next…

Tomorrow, our friends and customers in the USA will be celebrating thanksgiving.

This celebration, which has been on the fourth Thursday in November since Boxing Day 1941, when President Franklin D Roosevelt signed a joint resolution to move it from the last Thursday in November, gives thanks for a bountiful harvest crop.

In recent years, Americans now see it as the start of their holiday season, and with just over one week until we start December, we will soon be in the festive spirit too!

During this season of goodwill, we are encouraged to not only plan for the big day but to take time to think about all the things we should be grateful for.

This past year at PLAANK has seen us move into a new warehouse. Our dedicated new warehouse not only gives us a more efficient layout to house our product ranges, but it has given us the opportunity to plan ahead, knowing that we can accommodate new and exciting products in the future.

We have been able to add over 20% more products to our current portfolio.

Our Reclaimed range has seen the introduction of Red Rock Grey and Bijou Creek Blue, both of which have been extremely well received.

At the same time, Bregenz Bronze and Ortler Oak were launched into our Design series, offering two timeless wood panelling options for every interior specification.

This year has seen some amazing installations, including several in the States.

In Spring, our Rocky Mountain Grey was used to transform a truly palatial residence. The double height room, with fabulous windows and stunning architectural details had a full length wall fitted in wall panelling, which we could only describe as spectacular!

This Autumn, we were furnished with photographs of another amazing property. With similar double height proportions, a feature wall was clad in Culebra Peak White.

Both these homeowners have totally transformed their living spaces and will be celebrating their Thanksgiving and Christmas this year in style…

So even though it’s December next week, it’s still not to late to transform your own home ready for the big day!
