We all need some colour in our lives right now!

We all need some colour in our lives right now!

At the beginning of the year we predicted that colour would be a hot trend in 2020.

Little did we know that only three months later, we would be faced with one of the most unprecedented situations the world has ever seen!

As hard as it is, having a positive mindset and staying strong is one of the best ways to stay healthy.

Colour, in much the same way as daylight does, can have a massive impact on the way we feel and is known to affect our mood! If a certain room in your home makes you feel low, try and look at it with a fresh approach…

Is it simply looking a bit tired and neglected? Could you move the furniture around a bit to see more of the view outside? Can you temporarily switch the uses of two rooms, so that the one you’re likely to spend more time in has the best outlook to outside?

Once this is all over, and it will be, we will all hopefully come out better people for it! Rather than intending to do things, and never actually following them through, we will!

Like so many of us, DIY in our homes is something that frequently gets put on hold, so even though it may seem extremely hard to get motivated, why not write yourself a list of DIY ‘to-do’s for when this is all over? You might even manage to cross off a few in the coming weeks, and if you do, you’ll be sure to feel more positive!

Our colourful ranges on our website and Pinterest boards are sure to inspire you over the coming weeks and months…

Last year we launched TimberStik, our easiest and quickest to apply wooden wall panelling range, supplied as planks with pre-applied adhesive strips.

Vibrant ‘Harlequin’ features a combination of colours including warm russet, seagreen, burnt orange and palest blue, along with wooden shades of bleached pine and chestnut.

Our newest collection ‘Kaleidscope’ also features an abundance of colour…

Offered in a huge array of new and exciting colours, the ‘Kaleidscope’ collection is sure to offer something for everyone!

Shades influenced by semi-precious stones include ‘Topaz’, ‘Peridot’, ‘Garnet’, ‘Emerald’ and ‘Citrine’, whilst neutral and wood options offer subtly elegant finishes including ‘Chateau Beige’, ‘Burntwood Brown’, ‘Smoked Hickory’, ‘Sunkissed Sable Oak’ and ‘Twilight Grey’.

So, when you are finally feeling like doing some DIY, and want to make your interior space bright and colourful, look no further than PLAANK!
