We’re going red, white and blue
Love it or not, this Saturday sees the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle in St. George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Like so many other previous Royal weddings, it will be televised across the globe and many millions are expected to watch it.
Also being televised on the same day is the F A Cup final, which will be held at Wembley Stadium. The two teams in the final are Chelsea and Manchester United, each hoping to become the overall winner.
As well as the two teams playing in either blue and white or red and white, ironically the Emirates F A Cup logo is also a combination of red, white and blue.
And with many home owners choosing to decorate their homes with Union Jacks and royal memorabilia, along with public houses having been granted extended opening hours on both the Friday and Saturday evening, this weekend is set to be a party weekend of red, white and blue!
At PLAANK, as well as having many variations of wooden tones, from pale whitewash to the rich and dark tones of Breithorn Burnt, our Colour range features six finishes, chosen especially to complement all interior spaces.
Our Blue finish is softer than the blue found in the Union Jack, with an almost hint of a teal. Its subtle effect and warm tones will add character and charm to any room, whilst our Red wooden wall panels sway towards the russet reds rather than crimson or pillar box red, which would be too overpowering in any room.
The ever popular Culebra Peak White is our closest finish to white.
Its whitewashed appearance offers the perfect backdrop in any living space, so whether you’re decorating in grey tones, neutrals or very much a white-on-white look, Culebra Peak White will transform your room.
